Wendy Williams is back—kind of. The iconic radio and TV host is set to appear on The Breakfast Club this Thursday, January 16, as confirmed by host Charlamagne Tha God.

Charlamagne teased the big news on Instagram, writing:

“Conservatorships and guardianships should exist to empower, protect, and support individuals—not to confine them in invisible prisons. Tomorrow morning on @breakfastclubam #WendyWilliams will remind us that these systems must be transparent, compassionate, and designed to preserve dignity, not control. Let’s Discuss……”

Fans have been lit since the announcement hit social media.

Wendy Williams to break her silence on the ‘Breakfast Club’

This interview marks Wendy’s first major public appearance since facing significant health and financial challenges. In 2022, she was placed under a court-ordered guardianship due to concerns about her well-being and finances. Reports have indicated that she was diagnosed with early-onset dementia, specifically primary progressive aphasia and frontotemporal dementia, in May 2023.

In February 2024, Lifetime aired a documentary titled Where Is Wendy Williams?, chronicling her struggles with health issues, alcoholism, and the complexities of her guardianship. The documentary faced legal challenges from her guardian, Sabrina Morrissey, who claimed it exploited Wendy’s vulnerable state, alleging she was paid only $82,000 while the creators profited significantly more.

Later in in a November court filing, guardian Morrissey stated that Wendy was “cognitively impaired” and “permanently incapacitated.”

Despite these challenges, cameras spotted Wendy in Florida when she attended her son’s graduation. Wendy rode a motorscooter, appearing lucid, active, and upright.

No gives the tea like Wendy Williams

With so much speculation in the air, Wendy has plenty to address—and if there’s one thing we know about her, it’s that she’s not afraid to spill the tea and set the record straight. Wendy’s unmatched wit, candor, and iconic catchphrase, “How you doing?” have made her a cultural mainstay.

Fans have been missing her voice on TV and radio, often calling her out in social media comments during big pop culture moments. No one dishes the drama, gives the tea, and keeps it real like Wendy Williams.

This time, though, the tea is all about her.

Don’t miss the interview—it’s guaranteed to include the raw honesty and signature Wendy-isms we all love. To tune in live, check out Power 105.1 FM or catch the episode on The Breakfast Club’s YouTube channel.
