Mayor Andre Dickens Officially Leaves X

Mayor Andre Dickens becomes the latest notable public figure to depart from X, formerly Twitter.

As reported by Fox 5 Atlanta, Dickens did not provide a reason for leaving, but he did encourage residents to follow him on BlueSky.

Dickens is the latest to join a seemingly massive exodus from the X platform, owned by tech billionaire and Trump ally Elon Musk.

Recently, there have been growing concerns over the platform’s new terms of service. The updated terms, which took effect in November, reportedly give X extensive rights to use users’ content and interactions to train its artificial intelligence models. The terms also say users could be fined if they exceed the 1 million-post daily viewing limit.
